Jerusha Fox was born in the Mohave Desert to traveling musicians from a long line of ancestral Weavers and Spinners. Jerusha carries a 100-year-old towel woven by one of her ancestors in Eastern Europe as a kind of talisman.

One of eleven, Jerusha grew up exploring the Western United States from Arizona to Wyoming and every place in-between. Some years were fanciful, painting the desert while others were a beautiful struggle, fighting fires on the Wind River Range. The Rocky Mountains, First People, friends and Ancient Artifacts solidified her interest in textiles.

Jerusha has long studied Weavers and Spinners in Eastern European Pagan Rites and Folklore Traditions; where-in Weavers and Spinners were portrayed as Goddesses. Family, friends and her love of fiber traditions have led to the launch of LÖM RESERVE and Jerusha is dedicated to honoring those traditions.

Jerusha's new home is in Burlington, VT. Vermont offered the chance to be part of a historical group of weavers at The Marshfield School of Weaving, the foremost school for traditional weaving in North America.  Here, Jerusha trained with the founder and groundbreaking Scottish weaver, Norman Kennedy and his protégé, Kate Smith.

Jerusha is always weaving, be it deep in the Green Mountains with masters, or in her studio, a 1902 converted industrial film studio that ran on Lake Champlain water, the Lumière Building, boasting an Antique Barn Loom, Circa 1730. The iconic loom, Blondie, is so large that before the studio, Jerusha began weaving in her garage, as it was the only room that could handle the wooden rock star. Like many of the icons Jerusha looks to for inspiration, this story started in a garage.

LÖM RESERVE is a luxury handbag brand, offering limited edition handbags, clutches and coin purses, along with other accessories, entirely made in the USA. Jerusha designs every component of her bags and hand weaves the natural fiber elements on her loom. Woven materials include Silk, Linen, Wool, Cotton, Alpaca & limited quantities of Paco-Vicuña. Other materials from American Leather to metals are responsibly sourced and selected from trusted  partners. Many are friends and peers who are proud to be a part of the Made in America Luxury Movement.
